- What is a registered office address?
  
  A registered address is where all communications and notices to the company are addressed to, and where the company’s registers and records are kept.
  A company may have multiple office address locations, but only one registered office address.
- What are the requirements of registered office addresses?
  
  All companies must ensure that their registered office is open and accessible to the public for at least three hours during ordinary business hours on each business day.
  The purpose of this requirement is to allow members of the public to reach out to the office if necessary and to facilitate the delivery of any legal documents.
  The registered office must be an address in Singapore, but it need not be the place of operation. For instance, your company’s registered office address may be in Raffles Place but your factory could be located in Tuas.
- What is a business address?
  
  When registering a sole proprietorship or a partnership, you are required to provide your business address.
- What are the requirements of business addresses?
  
  There are fewer requirements for a business address compared to a registered office address. The most notable requirement is that a P.O. Box address cannot be ,used as the business address.
  Although under the Home Office Scheme, you may use your residential address as the business address, you still need to obtain prior approval from HDB or URA. However, this method is not advisable if you are concerned about privacy.
- What are the differences between business address and registered office address?
  
  They are addresses registered with ACRA for business (sole proprietorship or partnership) and local company respectively.
- What is an operating address?
  
  The operating address refers to the physical location where a business conducts its operations. While there are no specific requirements for an operating address by ACRA, other government agencies may have additional requirements.
  For example, the Ministry of Manpower and Singapore Food Agency may impose specific requirements for certain types of businesses regarding their operating address.
- Must the registered address be same with operating address?
  
  The registered office must be an address in Singapore, but it need not be the place of operation.

  Virtual office address must be a physical office. Mailbox cannot be used as a registered office address.

  If you have changed your company name on ACRA BizFile, it's important to update it in our system as well to avoid any confusion.
  You can do this by logging into your client portal and updating the company name, or by sending us a message via WhatsApp or email with the new name, and we will update it for you.
  We are always happy to assist you with any changes you need to make to your account.
- How do I change my registered office address on ACRA BizFile?
  
  1. Log in https://www.bizfile.gov.sg
  2. At 'My DashBoard' page, click 'e-Services' button beside your business entity
  3. Click 'Change in Company information including Appointment/...'
  4. Check 'Change in Registered Office Address'
  5. Fill in the address and click Submit
- How do I change my business address on ACRA BizFile?

  It is more cost-effective for our clients to purchase a phone line directly from a telecommunications company. Additionally, providing telephone lines does not offer significant value-add for our clients.
- Why not use a shared office or hotdesk as a registered office address?
  
  Shared offices, serviced offices or hotdesks are usually temporary or short-term solutions, which may not provide a stable business address for a company.
- Why not use a secretary or accouting service provider's office as a registered address?
  
  As your business grows, your needs will change and you may need to switch to a different company secretary or accounting service provider that better suits your evolving requirements.
  Using their office as your registered address may not be a stable long-term solution for your business.
- Why not use a mailbox in Singapore?
  
  A P.O. Box address cannot be used as the business address. What’s more, it cannot be used to receive couriers.

  We offer a 30-day, no-questions-asked refund policy (70% refund) if the virtual address has not been used as the registered address with ACRA or any government agencies, and no mail has been received at the address. All refunds are subject to a 30% deduction to cover Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processing and payment gateway fees.
